Every child can be a writer
It’s Christmas Eve and a mysterious looking Santa is stealing all the presents that Santa has just delivered! How could this be?!
Santa, Rudolph and the other reindeer must beat the ticking clock to unmask the naughty imposter. Will they be able to save Christmas?
This book was originally written by six year-old Eve, who wanted to create a story where all kinds of children would feel seen. Eve also imagined a world in which they could have presents every day, not just on Christmas Day.
We believe that every child should be able to realise their reading potential. This book has been carefully designed to ensure the story is accessible and inclusive to all readers.
The book is set in one of many dyslexia-friendly fonts. Dyslexie is specially designed by dyslexic people for those with dyslexia. It includes heavier bottoms, customised shapes and longer sticks to help avoid letters being turned, mirrored or swapped.
Additional attention to details in the book’s design, such as the colour of the type, wide margins, easy-to-navigate line breaks, and the use of upper and lower case letters for clear contrast, add to its accessibility for all.
Nicholas Child worked very closely alongside Eve to help visualise a bright and colourful story including characters of all different abilities and ethnicities – a rainbow of our world.
Eve’s delightful story will keep readers guessing right up to the end of the book, with a few exciting twists and turns along the way! An ideal gift or Christmas stocking-filler, it is perfect for sharing with the whole family.
